Product description

The Aquilim SG is a non permanent adhesive. You can compare the effect of the glue with a Post-it. This glue is mainly used for the provisional gluing of leather (for example: fitting the various parts of a bag together). The glued pieces can be repositioned again and again.
One can choose to remove the glue by means of a rubbercement eraser after it is certain that the different parts of the bag fit together and to replace it with a permanent glue. Or one can proceed to stitching the leather after the glue has become transparent. In other words, this adhesive always needs stitching or sewing as a support in order for the adhesive to be considered permanent.

Apply glue to the more absorbent/rough side of the leather and let it dry (2-3 minutes for leather). The glue becomes transparent when completely dry. Attach to another surface and press or hammer both materials together. Sewing/stitching is immediately possible.
